Overcoming discrimination and violence, the right to play, art and recreation, gender equality and the right to comprehensive sexuality education and to participate in the debates on public policies affecting them: these were some of the demands shared by boys, girls, adolescents<\/a> and youths during the 22nd Pan-American Child and Adolescent \u00a0Congress and the Third Pan-American Child Forum<\/a> that were held from Oct. 29-31 in Cartagena (Colombia).
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

CLADE participated in the Congress and also in the Civil Society Forum prior to the event. The Campaign took this opportunity to launch to the public the iniciative\u00a0<\/span>##TheEducationWeNeed for the world we want.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

In the occasion of the <\/span>Pan<\/span>-A<\/span>merican<\/span> Child Congress and Forum, topics, such as overcoming the violence against children<\/a>, the right to participation of boys, girls and adolescents, comprehensive systems of protection and guarantee of the rights of the child and adolescent were analyzed and discussed, as well as the advances and challenges to accomplish\u00a0the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child<\/a><\/span> (CRC)<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n
