{"id":15144,"date":"2019-10-30T13:23:05","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T16:23:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/redclade.org\/noticias\/jovenes-laeducacionquenecesitamos\/"},"modified":"2020-05-20T17:59:43","modified_gmt":"2020-05-20T20:59:43","slug":"jovenes-laeducacionquenecesitamos","status":"publish","type":"noticias","link":"https:\/\/old.redclade.org\/en\/noticias\/jovenes-laeducacionquenecesitamos\/","title":{"rendered":"Youths from Latin America and the Caribbean invited to express what #TheEducationWeNeed is"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Partnering with young people and secondary school and university students from different countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, and with the support of the UNICEF Regional Office, CLADE promotes the initiative \u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/redclade.org\/laeducacionquenecesitamos\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">#TheEducationWeNeed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adolescents and young people in the region are invited to express, through short videos, photographs, texts, poems, drawings and other means of expression, how education should be in order to guaranttee social, economical, cultural and environmental life in its entirety and to ensure the realization of rights and a horizon of dignity for all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The points of view from students and youths will be systematized and sent, in both text and audiovisual formats to the UN Committee of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, to human rights bodies at all levels, the UNESCO, authorities in the Inter-American System of Human Rights and the United Nations, as well as to authorities who are active within the education field at national and regional levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides, contributions received will pass through a curatorship to be shown in a special multimedia section at CLADE\u2019s website and other Campaign\u2019s media. They will also be presented in an international conference with the participation of the students, in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initiative will be lauched at the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iin.oea.org\/congreso-panamericano.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">22nd Pan-American Child Congress<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, to be held from Oct. 28-31 in Cartagena, Colombia.
